Who we are
ValuNova Consulting Ltd is a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 17266840). Our registered office is 19 Queen Street, Caversham, Reading RG4 7RB, United Kingdom. The company is run by James Eustace. We are responsible for the personal data described in this notice. You can contact us at any time at jameseustace@valunovaconsulting.com.
What we collect
When you request an assessment, we collect your name, job title, company, email address and the hotel you would like assessed, including its website. You can also choose to give us your phone or WhatsApp number, the areas you would like to improve and any other notes. If you contact us directly by email or WhatsApp, we keep the details you share with us.
How we use it
We use your details to prepare and send your assessment, to reply to you and to follow up about your request and our related services. We do not sell your data, add you to mailing lists or use it for automated decision-making.
Our legal basis
We rely on your consent, given when you tick the box on our form, to prepare your assessment. We rely on our legitimate interests to respond to and follow up business enquiries. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us.
Who we share it with
We only share your data with trusted service providers who help us run our business and act on our instructions. These are Netlify, which hosts our website and stores form submissions, Zapier, which sends us an email alert when a form is submitted, Microsoft, which provides our email, and software tools, including AI assistants, that help us analyse publicly available information and prepare your assessment. Some of these providers are based outside the UK and European Economic Area, for example in the United States. Where this is the case, your data is protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or approved data transfer frameworks.
How long we keep it
If we do not go on to work together, we delete your details within 12 months of our last contact. If you become a client, we keep records for as long as needed to deliver our work and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, usually up to six years.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive a copy of it and to withdraw your consent. To use any of these rights, email jameseustace@valunovaconsulting.com. We will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first. You can also complain to a data protection authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). In Portugal it is the CNPD (cnpd.pt) and in Spain the AEPD (aepd.es).
Cookies
Our website does not use cookies, analytics or any tracking. Our fonts and images are hosted on our own website.
